Shoto Todoroki x Reader Oneshot- A Valentine's Day Miracle

 About the Title of this one, I didn't really know what to call it so yeah... But anyways, enjoy the story!

3rd Pov

     It was Valentine's Day today, you were so excited to go see r/n (random name). You were so excited to spend Valentine's Day with your favorite person, your boyfriend. You got him a box of chocolates and a few other things. The two of you had been dating for almost 3 years now.

     You had planned part of the day and he had planned the other. For the first part of the day, which is the part you planned. The two of you were going to get ice cream and hangout at the park and have a picnic.

     You wondered what he had planned. You were so excited to find out what he had planned. You couldn't wait. 

(You can choose an outfit to wear.)

     You were now ready to leave your house and head out. You had a few extra things you had to pick up before you were going to see your boyfriend. There were small shops in town you went to.

     You made sure to text him that you wouldn't be at his house for a little longer. So, he didn't know what time you were going to be there or what you would be doing today.

     After swinging by the shops and picking up a few gifts, you organized the gifts into a basket. Some of the items wouldn't fit in the basket so you just held them in your hands. At this point your hands were a bit full.

     You figured you would surprise your boyfriend when you got to his house, so you didn't tell him you were coming to his house early. You walked through the park, as you noticed a certain voice.

1st Pov

     I was on my way back from the shops and ready to surprise my awesome boyfriend, when I heard a familiar voice when I was passing the park. I had walked around trying to figure out who it was. I saw r/n, my boyfriend. 

     He was with another girl and I was hiding so that he wouldn't see me. He was having a small picnic with her. His next actions made my heart break. He kissed her and told her that he loved her.

     I dropped all of the gifts I had gotten for him and left running out of the park. As I dropped all of the stuff he noticed and saw me run off. Tears were going down my face, I was heartbroken. The one person I truly loved had betrayed me.

     He started running after me. I tried my best to outrun him because I didn't want to see his face right now. How could he do such a thing?

     I ran down the street still crying and I was confused as to why he would do such a thing. I sat on a bench downtown at an uncrowded area, that way no one  would notice me crying. I was crying so much that I became tired. I fell asleep on that bench.

     I woke up to the touch of something wet. It was raining, and it was cold too. It was also dark. I had walked to where I was now, so it would at least take me thirty five minutes to get home. I had remembered the actions and events that had happened earlier today, what a good Valentine's Day for me huh?

     Tears started to form in my eyes yet again. I didn't want to cry but I couldn't help it. There weren't much people downtown so you were fine with crying and being alone. Plus since it was raining people wouldn't be able to tell you were crying that much.

3rd Pov

     A few minutes later you noticed a figure in the distance. A few moments later you noticed who it was. It was your friend Todoroki. The boy that was quiet and didn't say much from class 1A at UA. 

     The two of you went to UA together. The both of you got in from recommendations. Your quirk was a type of brainwashing quirk, similar to Shinsou's.      

     Todoroki's quirk was a mix of Ice and Fire. You thought his quirk was very interesting. You had never met someone with two quirks. The way he performed at the sports festival, you thought it was amazing.

     A few seconds later, you were snapped out of your thinking by a presence around you. You looked up to see Todoroki sitting next to you with an umbrella above your head.

     "Why are you here alone y/n? Shouldn't you be with your boyfriend r/n?" Todoroki questioned. You sighed. "Is something wrong between the two of you?" He asked. He didn't want to admit it but Todoroki had liked you since the both of you had started at UA.

     "Well it was supposed to be a fun day, we had special plans with each other to do today." You said. You continued. " I was on my way to his house to surprise him when I saw him in the park, he was with another girl. I stopped for a second to see what he was doing. They were having a picnic, he then said that he loved her and kissed her. That's when I ran as far as I could from the park." You said. 

     Tears started to appear in your eyes. You couldn't control it. Todoroki pulled you into a warm hug. You were crying and shaking because it was cold outside. He gave you his jacket to keep you warm too. He comforted you.

     "Let me be your Valentine's then, y/n" Todoroki said. "W-why would you do that?" You asked. "Well truth be told, I've always liked you since I saw you at UA and I just didn't know how to tell you my feelings until now. But I found out you had a boyfriend so I didn't want to get in the way if you were happy." Todoroki said.

     You were shocked at the words that had just cane out of his mouth. Your eyes were wide and your mouth was slightly open. "You don't have to say yes, it was just a suggestion." Todoroki replied. "No No! It's okay, I just didn't expect that as an answer." You said, clearly a blushing mess.

     "So, y/n will you be my Valentine's?" Todoroki questioned. " Sure!" You said. The two of you spent the rest of the night together, you went out to dinner at a small restaurant in town too. He helped you a lot to get over your ex.

——————————2Weeks Later—————————

     After Valentine's Day you and Todoroki got a lot closer. Within those two weeks you enjoyed yourself with him. You realized that you had feelings for him but you just never noticed it before.

     He eventually texted you and asked you to meet him at the park. As you arrived at the park, you noticed Todoroki standing with a Rose in his hand. He looked a little nervous though. You walked up to Todoroki and waved, he waved back and smiled. "H-Hi y/n." He said shyly. "Hey Todoroki! Is something wrong?" You asked. "Not at all!" He said, nervousness and shyness going away.

     He handed you the rose, and you gladly accepted it. The both of your faces were a blushing mess. "Uhm-... Y-Y/n L/n will you maybe... be my girlfriend?" He asked. "Of Course" you replied. "May I?" He asked, wondering if he could kiss you. " You don't need to ask silly!" You said laughing a bit.

     With that Todoroki gave you a kiss on your lips. His lips were so soft. You kissed him back too.

You were finally happy again and you didn't think about your ex ever again.
